I'm back!
It's been a while. I got deep into focus on my post-graduation job search. So far, no luck. Every shot I take is one step closer though.
My goal is to try and get back to posting on here on a somewhat regular basis. I likely won't stick too strong to that, but I want to make some effort. In the meantime though, a quick post about what I've been up to:
Broomball.
I recently started playing pick up broomball on weekends. If you don't know what broomball is, imagine Hockey, but without skates, a ball, and a different stick. Also still on ice. It's structurally the same, but more accessible. Cheaper, too.
I wanted to make an effort this year, now that I'm out of school, to get out and meet people. Broomball has been the answer so far. It allows me to meet people with similar interests, play some games, and work on my cardio.
I wish I could say more about it right now, but I'm just taking it week by week until the league starts up. I definitely recommend anyone even slightly interested to try out a pickup game at your local rink. People are very nice, it's casual, and often they have spare equipment to be borrowed.
